- About Me:
- I have Cerebral Palsy and grew up in a dysfunctional family where there was a lot of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. Because there were no laws on the books at the time guaranteeing people with disabilities the right to an education my teachers did not understand that I learn differently.
In spite of the odds I have an AAS in Mental Health, BS in Psychology, and credits towards a MS in Rehabilitation Counseling (employment counseling for people with disabilities. I have both the CTM and ATM certifications from Toastmasters and was a member of NSA-GA Chapter where I participated in their mentoring program where I wrote a speech Success is my Only Option! I attended the American Seminar Leaders Association University and hold the Certified Seminar Leader certification. I entered the workforce 12 years before ADA became law.
My company is Career Performance Institute. I help my clients with homestudy programs, teleseminars, webinars, mentoring programs, life and career coaching.
