What I want everyone to know
I love my artist and friend Ed Rambeau. He is a prodigy of the 60's era, and he is still recording today. He lives in NYC, and I hope to meet him this spring in NYC. I will tell who ever wants to listen about him, any time, any where. And I will through blogs here.
About Me:
I am an avid 60's music fan. I love all of the oldies music. I love to cook, crochet, garden, bake, listen to my favorite artist Ed Rambeau, and the computer.

Why We Love Kids

NUDITY
I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening
when a woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She
was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-
old shout from the back seat, "Mom, that lady isn't wearing a seat
belt!"

OPINIONS
On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note
from his mother. The note read, "The opinions expressed by this
child are not necessarily those of his parents."

KETCHUP
A woman was tr… Continue

"Where Hides The Woman"

She seems the same

But I just, don't know her

She smiles the same

With that, sultry smolder

But she's not the same

Could it be, it's over?

Oh tell me

Where hides the woman, I onced loved?

She looks the same

Yet, I see as stranger

Am I to blame?

Is my heart, in danger?

I wish I new

What I did to change her

Oh tell me

Where hides the woman, I onced loved?

Her walks the same

Yet, I don't recogonize it

She talks the same

Well, at least she tries it

But she's not the same

And… Continue

"Waiting For Tonight"

Like a movie scene

In the sweetest dreams

I have pictured us together

Now to feel your lips

On my finger tips

I have to say is even better

Then I ever thought it could possibly be

It's perfect, it's passion, it's setting me free

From all of my sadness

The tears that I've cried

I have spent all of my life

Waiting for tonight, oh

When you would be here in my arms

Waiting for tonight, oh

I've dreamed of this night for so long

Waiting for tonight

Tender words you sa… Continue

Autumn In New England

The season is changing already here, and the crisp nights have started. This is a beautiful time to be here, to enjoy all of beauty's wonder. The trees have started to change ever so slightly, but you know that summer is gone, and fall is slowly creeping in. The nights have become cool, and the warmth of the sun is less. The spring calls of birds are silent now, for they have started to move on. Soon the skies will be filled with the call of the Canadian geese flying in formation over head. I al… Continue

News: Obsessions! Naming Kids Is Symbolic of Who You Are.

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young
mothers and their small children. 'You all have obsessions, he
observed..'

To the first mother, Mary, he said, 'You are obsessed with eating..
You've even named your daughter Candy.'

He turned to the second Mom, Ann, 'Your obsession is with money.
Again,
it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny.'

He turned to the third Mom, Joyce, 'Your obsession is alcohol… Continue

Remembering 9-11

This image is forever burned in our minds forever! As this 8th anniversary approaches, we all need to remember the day that this great country was attacked.

Yesterday, I was looking at all the photos, and my heart grew so heavy, with sadness. An event that so many of us still can't believe that it ever happe… Continue

"September Morn"

Stay for just a while

Stay, and let me look at you

It's been so long I hardly knew you

Standing in the door

Stay with me a while

I only want to talk to you

We've traveled halfway round the world

To find ourselves again

September morn

We danced until the night became a brand new day

Two lovers, play… Continue

TWO DOCTORS

This is the honest truth!!!!!

TWO DIFFERENT DOCTORS' OFFICES

Boy, if this doesn't hit the nail on the head, I don't know what does!

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same
complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip
replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same
day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an
appointment, then waits 8 wee… Continue

Happiness

What makes you happy? Happiness to me are several things. One that I get up each day, for that is not a given. Just to awake, and get up each and every day, sometimes is a miracle. It also is having more than enough in each area of life. More than enough faith, more than enough relationships, more than enough physical, emotional, and mental resources. Happiness is being able to do something for someone, and don't expect anything in return. That is the joy of giving of yourself. Happiness can be… Continue

"Take Me Away"

I've had a hard year baby
I need a long vacation

I need your lovin' baby

To take away life's frustrations

Take me away

Take to where I've never been

Take me away

Open the door and let me in

And take me away

I've had a life of heartache

And baby, need I mention

I haven't be… Continue

A Very Special Friend

As I look at this picture of Ed Rambeau, I really wonder how I got so blessed to be his friend. From a simple woman who writes about his music, and the love of his music, can be so fortunate to have a friend like him. I know many of you think I'm crazy some times, but if y… Continue

"Cry Me A River"

This song was written by Arthur Hamilton, and was first published in 1953. The most famous recording was by actress-singer, Julie London in 1955. A sultry performance the song by London in the 1956 film,"The Girl Can't Help It", helped to make it a million-selling blockbuster.

Now you say, you're lonely

You said you cried the whole night through

Well, you can cry me a river

Cry me a, river

I cried a river, over you

And now you say, you're sorry

For being, so untrue

Well, you can cry… Continue
