This song was written by Ed. It is also on his CD, "The Cad". He is so proud of that one, and he should be. It is Ed's creativity at it's best! It doesn't matter which one you hear it from, but just listen.
To hear how Ed sings this one is fabulous. The opening intro grabs your attention immediately. Then it slows down, and Ed's wonderful voice begins to sing. The singing of the first two verses, sets the tone for the whole song. How he can sing so perfectly is beyond me. Listen to the verse, "Where hides the woman, I onced loved." Ed's pronunciation of "Loved" is spectacular. Listen to how Ed sings, "Stranger." As he continues, "Am I to blame? Is my heart in danger?" Every word complete, and no doubt what is being sung. Then the music reaches a creshendo, and the strings take over in an almost a waterfall effect. When Ed sings, "She's not the same," those marvelous harmonizing vocals take over. And the ending is just perfect. Strong and Ed's beautiful vocals end this beautifully written song by Ed. I hope you will listen to this great song by Ed. It is one of his best!
